I suggest you read the stories to get an idea of what this project is truly about. An about section can only tell you so much. For those who are still reading: in a nutshell, I have been interviewing and photographing women about their lives and jobs to suggest that there is indeed, a plethora of role models for our young women. From engineering, fire fighting, to being a mother, or working at a call centre. We all have stories to tell and they are all worth telling.
Chrissy Irvine is an Honours graduate from the Ilam School of Fine Arts. She lives in Christchurch, Aotearoa and continues this project in her spare time. Please get in touch if you want to help.
She also offers commercial photo shoots for women who need promotional material for their businesses, or who would like their lives to be documented in herstory style. You can find Chrissy's commercial website here.
